Sometimes I Miss the 90s

Though the 90s are pretty forgettable for many reasons and provided the worst fashion decade of the century, good stuff still happened. Maybe it is because I grew up in the 90s, but the SNL actors of that period were some of the greats. Phil Hartman and Chris Farley were standouts at the time and if they hadn’t been lost to us might still be making good works now. Chris Farley’s insanity is on good display in this old clip from some random CNBC show. It also shows the difference between cable talk TV then and now.

The 90s was also the decade where electronic dance music went mainstream. My first club experience was a launch party for the game Wipeout 3. That game series was a ridiculously hard racing game that featured many of the great DJs of the era. Some German dude recreated the game in an awesome manor:
