A Dattoo (DNA Tattoo) is an interactive tattoo linked to your DNA, printed on your body. Gizmag has the full story, but essentially via computers on your body you could eliminate your phone/ipod/other computerized devices and be a walking computer, with the power coming from your body. While there certainly seem to be some Big Brother type concerns with this technology, it would be cool to do a google search on your forearm.

Recently Will Ferrell seems to have been phoning in his movies. While he has been funny in bit appearances and on his web shorts, movies like Land of the Lost, Semi-Pro, Blades of Glory and Step Brothers have been underwhelming. I found this video to be funny and the clip below from The Other Guys is solid as well. Though the commercials have been annoying, and I am not exactly a fan of underpants model Mark Wahlberg, but maybe it will be good? Or maybe the lack of a decent comedy this year just makes this movie seem funny as there is nothing good to compare it to.

It has been a while since I posted – I’ve found that now that I am not working, I browse the internet less. Apparently having a job where I had nothing to do, but was forced to sit at a computer for 8 hours a day was the best thing for my blog. I am sure you have all been very disappointed in my lack of effort on this site and will endeavo(u)r to be more consistent going forward. Or not.

Anyway, this parkour video is pretty good both in terms of their skill as well as how it ends.

Watching this video made me want to go dancing, it also reminded me that I am really uncoordinated. My last thought is that I feel sorry for everyone who has ever had to witness me dancing, but as long as I don’t have to see it, I am fine with it.

Sorry for the lack of posts the past few weeks, I got lazy as I quit working. Somehow not having a job leaves me with less time to crawl around the interweb.

Anyway, enjoy this parody. Whatever your feelings on Wes Anderson, this is pretty spot on. Not really sure about the video game references as I haven’t played God of War.

I’m sure you’ve spent a lot of time wondering what Barack Obama’s time in Indonesia was like. Well, now you don’t have to guess because some Indonesian folks made a movie about it. After seeing this preview one thing is for sure, if I ever meet our current President, I’m going to call him Barry.

Patrick Boivin combined the internet’s two favorite things – Star Wars and pets. I’ve never wanted to to embrace the Empire more.

With the first trailer for the Seth Rogen Green Hornet released this week, Cinematical dug up Bruce Lee’s original screen test for his role of Kato on the tv series. Even at age 24 he already evinced his unique martial arts awesomeness and philosophy. With so many actors learning how to fake martial arts now it is nice to see an actual expert perform. And just for fun, here is a clip from his final movie, Game of Death in which he fights Kareem Abdul Jabbar.

This video made me realize that everything I was taught about dinosaurs 15-20 years ago was wrong, or at least is now believed to be wrong. Science rewrites common opinion every generation so in another 20 years what is believed now will also be disproved. Therefore I feel fine envisioning that dinosaurs actually were very civilized. For some reason the thought of a t-rex wearing a tuxedo shirt and jacket, wearing a top hat and monocle, using a fork and knife in his stubby arms to eat a stegasoraus just works for me. And apparently, I’m not the only one:
